Bangkok, Thailand

I'm at the Lion's Club International Convention in Bangkok, Thailand. I'm soaking in culture between Lion meetings and training sessions. I am borrowing a computer from Lion Nihal of Australia and posting at the convention's site at the Impact Center Challenger 2 internet cafe. some of the cultural highlights of my trip are: learning about and riding logging elephants, going to the Alangkarn dinner theater, and of course participating in the Lion's Interational Convention Parade. Learning how to say peace as a greeting in Thai "sa was dee ka" when spoken by a female and "sa was dee krab" spoken by a male (the "s" is silent). Please comment and share your cultural experiences.
